Intelligent bilge monitor, capable of detecting salt or fresh water and activation and deactivation anomalies in the bilge pump

Voltage: 12 V

Why a Seymo bilge monitor?

It is specifically designed by boaters to increase boating safety.

There is nothing similar on the market that is as accurate.

It is an intelligent system for real-time bilge monitoring.

Smart control unit with microprocessor.

The programmable alarm adapts to each boat based on the bilge pump's operating patterns.

It has three built-in electronic sensors with no moving parts.

Detects if there is water in the bilge and whether it is fresh or salt water.

Detects the maximum bilge level.

Detects when the bilge pump is activated or deactivated.

Detects abnormal bilge pump behavior.

Monitors all this information on an LCD screen.

Programmable for all functions.

Audible alarm with two outputs.

Do I need an installer?

Installation is straightforward.

Anyone without technical knowledge can install the SEYMO bilge monitor.

Just connect the supplied sensors and the 12 or 24 volt connection.

Detecting a leak early offers a great chance of saving the boat and preserving the safety of its crew.

It alerts you in all possible cases that something is happening in the bilge; with other simple alarm systems,

it is impossible to detect.

Water ingresses may be small at first and can later become uncontrollable.

A timely alarm can prevent a disaster. Once the water level rises above a certain level, it is impossible to find

the leak; we won't be able to see where it's coming in.

Case studies and examples of operation:

First, the alarm does not affect the operation of the bilge pump; this means

that the pump operates on its own with its normal level sensor.

The bilge monitor controls the alarms that are activated according to the programming, detecting

water in the bilge and abnormal operating behavior of the bilge pump,

providing a well-advanced warning of a problem, which is otherwise impossible.

You can always know if the water is coming from a ruptured tank or seawater is entering.

The audible alarm operates in the event of any abnormal water ingress.

The alarm will initially beep four times every three seconds; if left unattended, it will activate continuously.

If the maximum bilge level is exceeded, the alarm will be continuous until silenced by pressing the button.

All of this can be programmed from the menu using the three buttons to suit your needs.

Display:

No water: 0

Fresh water: F

Salt water: S

Example 1:

Programmable:

The maximum time the alarm will activate if the pump continues to run is from 1 second to 170 minutes.

Case:

Bilge pump running, we program 60 seconds.

When this time is reached, the alarm will activate.

This detects that the bilge pump is running more than normal.

There may be seawater ingress from a leaking drinking water tank.

The pump can handle the leaks, but the audible warning will let you know what is happening in the bilge and allow you to take the necessary precautions.

You will also know if the water is fresh or salt water.

Display:

PUMP:0 Pump at rest

PUMP:1 Pump running

Example 2:

Detects if the bilge pump has been activated a certain number of times in a given time.

Programmable from 0 to 9 times from 1 second to 20 minutes

We program it to alert us with an alarm if it is activated 3 times in 10 minutes.

If this does not happen, the number of times and the time will be reset to restart.

This will indicate that the pump is operating abnormally and will alert us.

Display indication:

T: Bilge pump operating time

A: Times the bilge pump has been activated.

Example 3:

Bilge sensor maximum level in a higher position

When the water reaches the sensor, the alarm is triggered.

Display indication:

Bilge: 0 not reached maximum level.

Bilge: 1 reached maximum level

This is the most tragic case: the maximum level has been exceeded.

If we have programmed the previous issues, it is likely that the problem will be resolved sooner.

The alarm is activated immediately until it is silenced.
